We believe Black journalists must work together in an effort to diversify newsrooms, to increase the number of Black media professionals in management positions in Canada and to educate and inspire a new generation of young Black journalists.”

An educational program designed to introduce Black youth in grades 9-12 to the field of journalism, with the ultimate goal of encouraging them to apply to journalism programs and eventually pursue careers in the field.
